Sometimes life throughs things at you!!!

Two years ago I got into a semi big car accident with an older guy who did not have the one thing I wish he did, Gieco, or anything of the same thing. The old jalopy  I was driving my brothers car when it happened, and he was not happy with me to say the least. To prove a point, as I find older siblings often do, he made me pay for the damage in full instead of him going through the insurance company. he said it would make me a better person in the end and a better older person

The thing that upset me the most about this whole stupid situation was that I did not have a dime to my name and he knew that as much. I was going to nursing school at the time and working really short hours to make ends meet, I had completely used up all of my other loans and had been living with a frat brother of mine where I only had to pay $150 a month to rent a room from. Needless to say, I was pretty pisssed off that my bro would actually make me pay for this

Anyway, to make a short story long, whoops to late, I had to take out a car title loan in order to afford the work on the car, the total damage came out to $850 dollars. Not bad I guess for the amount of damage done. I had taken out a car title loan before so I was automatically approved for $1000,00.  Once you have taken out a car title loan it is easier to get, and the process is much quicker. I never not ever thought to take out of these before and did not know what drew me to them in the first place. I of course did not tell my bro how I afforded to pay for the damage, he was astonished and put back that I didn’t make a stink about it, and even more surprised when I showed up with all the cash to pay for the car. He of course asked a ton of questions and even accused me of stealing the money, can you believe it my own flesh and blood would even think I would do that.

It took me about 3 months to pay back my loan.  I really hope I don’t have to take out another loan anytime soon, I did learn that I needed to save money and the experience has certainly taught me a lesson. Thank goodness that I had paid off my car in high school and had a decent car at that. The rest is history, and I fixed the wrong. The only thing I wish was that the person that hot me had paid for the damages, but heh, what can you do.
